The University of West Georgia currently awards three scholarships for which graduate students can apply.
Golden Braves Alumni Scholarshp
This scholarship is awarded to a full-time undergraduate or graduate student with at least a 3.0 GPA. This fund was established by West Georgia Alumni to give deserving students scholarship assistance.
Ted and Maryon Hirsch Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a graduate student with superior scholarship proven by a high GPA.
Tabatha and Logan Hancock
This scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates academic ability (3.0 or greater GPA), financial need, and a graduate from Woodland High School in Randolph County, AL. Once scholarship is awarded to a first-year student and one scholarship is awarded to a current undergraduate or graduate student.

Graduate students are eligible for PLUS loans. PLUS loans are federal loans that graduate or professional degree students and parents of dependent undergraduate students can use to help pay education expenses. The U.S. Department of Education makes Direct PLUS Loans to eligible borrowers through schools participating in the Direct Loan Program. In order to qualify for a Direct PLUS loan, you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Instructions for completing the FAFSA can be found at the FAFSA website.
