Steps for Re-admission to UWG
We are so pleased that you plan to return to UWG to complete the coursework for your bachelor’s degree. If you have not taken classes for 3 or more semesters, you will need to apply for re-admission. There is no charge for readmission applications.
Please follow these steps:
- Go to the following Readmisson webpage to confirm which category of readmitted student best describes you.
- You should also review “Your Checklist for Readmission to UWG” to determine if there are other things you need to do. For example, if you have taken classes elsewhere while on break from attending UWG, you will need to submit transcripts from the other institution(s).
- After reviewing the readmission categories and checklist, use the link to Apply directly from the readmission page.
- Once you are on the application page, as a returning user, you can try to log in using your westga.edu email address. If this does not work because the account is no longer active, try the email account you used when you first applied to UWG. If you cannot remember it or are having trouble, please contact the admissions office for assistance at: admiss@westga.edu
- Alternatively, if you have difficulties signing in as a returning user, you can also create an account as a first-time user and the accounts will be merged once your application is processed.
