Important Links & Information

The Georgia Right-To-Know Law gives each employee (faculty, staff, student workers, full-time employees, part-time employees and/or temporary employees) the right to be provided with information on the hazardous chemicals that they may be exposed to as part of their job. To comply, UWG has developed a program that outlines the regulatory requirements and requires all new employees to take right-to-know training within the first 6 months of employment.

The Department of Safety & Environmental Services maintains the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) on all chemicals, and can provide these documents to any employee upon request.
