UWG’s Institutional Work West Compliance Program was created to assure that the university meets its commitment to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies in its operations.

All new employees, upon hire, must participate in certain required training programs as part of their orientation program.  These training programs include:

  • Ethics
  • Right-to-Know
  • Risk Management
  • Information Security Awareness
  • Sexual Misconduct
  • Vehicle Risk and Safety  

Work West Compliance Refresher 2018

The Work West Compliance Refresher 2018 modules will be available on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.  All employees (including full time, part-time, temporary, graduate students and student assistants) hired on or before December 31, 2017 have until Friday, November 5, 2018 to complete all modules.  The estimated time commitment is 60 minutes. All employees hired on or after January 1, 2018, should have completed these requirements within the first 30 days of employment and are not required to complete them again until October 1, 2019.  Training is completed in DevelopWest.  Once in DevelopWest, you will find Work West Compliance Refresher 2018 in your Learning Plan.

  • Information Security Awareness
  • Sexual Misconduct
  • Vehicle Risk and Safety
