NOTE: Banner Major Codes, CIP Codes, and Reorganization
Banner Major Codes and the CIP Codes associated with majors have changed at various times through the years. All combinations of Banner/CIP codes used by UWG are provided. Users may need to combine data from several lines to carry through the entire time period. UWG's department/college structure has also changed over the years. The majors are grouped by their current department and college. All counts are as of census date and may differ from counts as of the end of term or any other point in time.
CIP Codes, or Classification of Instructional Program Codes are a systematic categorization structure developed by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) of the US Department of Education to group and organize academic programs, fields of study, and degrees for reporting data.
