UWG Alumni Weekend 2026 | April 24-25, 2026
Alumni Weekend is an exciting opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. The 2026 120th Anniversary Alumni Weekend will include a variety of signature events, with a mix of fun traditions and new activities. Join us on campus to reminisce and add to your West Georgia memories! We can't wait to see you there!
Signature Events:
- Student & Alumni Networking Social: Friday, April 24, 5:00-6:30PM | Local Ties Back Patio
Alumni, friends, and current students are invited to kick off Alumni Weekend 2026 with a networking social designed to bring alumni and current students together. This is a great opportunity for alumni to network with each other and with current UWG students who are just learning how to build their professional networks. The first 100 students at Alumni Weekend events will get a free Alumni Weekend t-shirt! Shirts will be available for $15 for alumni & friends.
REGISTRATION: Free! - UWG Alumni & Friends Take Over the Square: Friday, April 24, 7:00PM | The AMP in Downtown Carrollton.
Turn the Square red and blue as we partner with the City of Carrollton and throw it back to the 80s, with a concert featuring live music from Radio 80's - Radio & MTV Rock from the 80's!
REGISTRATION: Free! - UWG Alumni Association Lunch and Annual Meeting: Saturday, April 25, 12:00 - 1:30PM | On "The Porch" at the Athletics Operations Building (AOB) at University Stadium
Join us for the annual meeting of the full UWG Alumni Association, including updates from university leadership and a tailgate-style lunch. All alumni & friends are welcome.
REGISTRATION: $15 adults (ages 10+); free for ages 0-9 - Campus Sweethearts Social: Saturday, April 25, 3:00-4:00PM | Ingram Library
Celebrate your love story at the Campus Sweethearts Social, a special gathering for couples who first met right here at West Georgia. Enjoy a fun afternoon of reconnecting, reminiscing, and celebrating the campus connections that became lifelong partnerships. Each couple will take home a sweet keepsake to commemorate your campus love story.
REGISTRATION: $10 - 120th Anniversary Celebration Dinner and Alumni Awards: Saturday, April 25, 6:30PM | Campus Center Ballroom.
All alumni & friends are invited to join us for dinner, drinks, and entertainment as we transform the Campus Center Ballroom into the "UWG Jazz Lounge," featuring performances by the UWG student Jazz Combo, and celebrate the 49th Annual Alumni Awards recipients. Dress is business formal/cocktail.
REGISTRATION: $40 per person (complimentary registration available for all 2026 Alumni Award recipients and one guest).
