Who we are

Football Alumni Network

Welcome to the Football Alumni Network (F.A.N.) at the University of West Georgia! This community is dedicated to bringing together UWG football alumni to reminisce, fellowship, engage and give back to a program that has enriched their own lives. For as long as there have been football alumni from West Georgia, gatherings and events have focused on connectedness and tradition. This group is formed with a three-tiered purpose:

All football alumni are welcomed and encouraged to participate no matter when they attended UWG.

We want to give back to the University of West Georgia in a meaningful way. There are many resources needed within our football program and the F.A.N. can help close the gap.

As the largest alumni group from UWG, our goal is to create a meaningful impact like providing career-connected opportunities for our current student-athletes to enhance and help launch their careers before graduation, in service to the University’s strategic plan.

So, if you wore the uniform as a player, blew the whistle as a coach, or had an official support role for UWG football, this is the group for you!
