Oct. 17-25, 2025
A Day Fundraising efforts kickoff all around the UWG community, raising funds for UWG Students

Kick off Homecoming by giving back! Join the Volunteer Ambassadors for a day of hands-on service and community impact through working alongside fellow Wolves on projects that make a difference. Make memories, do good, and celebrate the spirit of giving back.
Date: Friday, Oct. 17
Time: Sign up for projects (more information about projects coming soon) between 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. | Transportation leaves campus at 11 a.m. | Serve the community from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

All individual students (or teams), student organizations, and department/offices have a chance to show off their artistic talents by participating in the banner competition. There will be supplies available and a designated time to decorate on Friday, Oct. 17. No glitter can be utilized for this contest and banners with glitter will be disqualified. Photos of banners can be submitted via Wolf Connect by Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 11:59 p.m. for scoring and judging - winners will be announced at the Hill on Oct. 25.

All Individual students (or teams), student organizations, and department/offices are eligible to participate in decorating one square of the sidewalk outside the Campus Center. Chalk will be provided on Monday, Oct. 20. To enter the competition, you must take a picture of your chalk design and submit it to Wolf Connect by Wednesday, Oct. 22 by 11:59 p.m. for scoring and judging. Winners will be announced at the Hill on Oct. 25.
Decorating

Pit Stop Newnan 500 is your chance to hit the brakes on class and gas it toward fun! With games, food, and entertainment, it’s all about fueling up with friends, repping your Wolf Pack pride, and making memories that go the distance on Newnan campus.

Get ready to rev up the energy at the West GA 500: Homecoming Kickoff! Join the Student Activities Council as they launch Homecoming Week with free food, bumper cars and high-energy fun, laser tag, homecoming court candidate introductions, Marching Wolves performance, UWG swag, and much more!

Get ready to shift into high gear at the Climbing Wall Speedway, where speed meets strength in a high-octane race to the top! Channel your inner race car driver as you climb against the clock in this NASCAR-themed competition. Whether you're a seasoned climber or a first-timer, this is your chance to hit the wall, burn rubber (well… chalk), and claim your spot on the Victory Lane leaderboard.
Race-day vibes with music, giveaways, and themed photo ops.
No experience needed – just bring your energy and race face!

This 5-on-5 basketball tournament is the ultimate test of skill and competitive spirit. Two teams of 5 will compete head-to head in a fast-paced relay race!

Aux Cord Wars Live is a brilliantly packaged musical experience that is perfect for ALL crowds, large and small. For over two hours, audience members get the once-in-a-lifetime chance to control the music and win giveaways on the spot!
Hosted by nationally and internationally touring entertainers, Jay Dukes and Trizzy; with our ACW official DJ’s positioned side by side keeping the experience live. This event has an old-school DJ competition vibe, with YOU in control, to see who can move the crowd by playing the best songs, while the audience decides your fate.

Join us for the ultimate Homecoming experience at the Football Tailgate and Wolf Walk! Kick off the festivities with a vibrant tailgate party featuring delicious food, music, and games, setting the stage for an exciting game ahead.

Celebrate the crowning moment at Half-Time! Join us as we honor and announce our Homecoming Royalty amidst an atmosphere of elegance and excitement. This event recognizes individuals who embody our university's spirit and values, showcasing their contributions to our community.

UWG Homecoming Court
The Homecoming Royalty Competition is now accepting applications for 2025. Applications will be open now through Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.
CSII will host two optional informational meetings for those who have questions or concerns about the Homecoming Court process:
Session 1: September 17, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Virtual Link)
Session 2: September 17, 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Virtual Link)
The guidelines below outline the minimum qualifications that candidates must meet to apply for Homecoming Court:
1. Academic Excellence: Minimum 3.0 overall institutional GPA; Undergraduate students with less than 12 earned credit hours must have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA.
2. Enrollment Status: Currently enrolled full-time at UWG; Undergraduate (12 credit hours) or Graduate Student (6 credit hours)
3. Sponsorship: Candidates must be sponsored by a registered student organization, a Greek organization, athletic team, residence hall/floor, or demonstrate campus involvement as a student employee, committee work, campus volunteer, campus department, etc.
4. Co-Curricular Involvement: Provide a co-curricular resume outlining involvement in /student organizations, community student employment, campus committees, high school activities, etc.
5. Conduct: Must be in good standing with the Office of Community Standards
6. Homecoming Application: Successfully complete Homecoming Royalty Application.
Please note that these are minimum requirements. Candidates must continue to be enrolled in 12 or more hours for undergraduate students and graduate students for 6 or more hours at the University of West Georgia through Spring Semester 2026.
Royalty Titles:
- 2025 UWG Freshman - Undergraduate students with 29 overall earned credit hours or less are eligible to run for this title. Only one student will be recognized as the Freshman class winner.
- 2025 UWG Sophomore - Undergraduate students with 30 to 59 overall earned credit hours are eligible to run for this title. Only one student will be recognized as the Sophomore class winner.
- 2025 UWG Junior - Undergraduate students with 60 to 89 overall earned credit hours are eligible to run for this title. Only one student will be recognized as the Junior class winner.
- 2025 UWG Homecoming King - Court Members with 90 or more overall earned credit hours are eligible to run for this title. Only one student will be recognized as the 2025 UWG Homecoming King.
- 2025 UWG Homecoming Queen - Court Members with 90 or more overall earned credit hours are eligible to run for this title. Only one student will be recognized as the 2025 UWG Homecoming Queen.
*Post-Baccalaureate and Graduate students are eligible to run for 2025 UWG Homecoming King or Queen and A-Day Ambassador.
- 2025 A-Day Ambassador - The Court Member who raises the most funds for the A-Day fundraiser will be recognized as the A-Day Ambassador. Only one student will be recognized as the winner.
