Ingram Library

Tuesday, August 30, 2022 06:00 PM - 07:00 PM

We're excited for students to join this student-focused book club as we read and discuss books each semester! This fall, we are reading The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher, and The Coldest Girl in Cold Town by Holly Black.  Our first book, The Hollow Places will be discussed during the our first 3 meetings. The last three meetings will discuss our second book. Meetings are for discussion of likes, dislikes, etc. Ideally, you'll find new books, genres, and authors that you'll enjoy, get to meet other students who like to read, and learn more about what the library has to offer.

Meetings this semester are hybrid. For those wishing to meet in person, we meet in the 3rd floor Aquarium room of the library. If you prefer to meet online, we will have a Google Meet session open at the same time so everyone can participate together; everyone who signs up will receive an invite to the Google Meet session. Meetings are on the 2nd and last Tuesdays of each month at 6pm. They usually last about an hour.

The first discussion for The Hollow Places will be held Tuesday, August 30th. We'll be discussing chapters 1-9 (p.1-114). We have a limited number of free books to give to Ingram Library Book Club student attendees. Go to the website to find out more and get the QR code to sign up. After you sign up, you'll be told how obtain a free book from the library.
