Open since Fall 2012,  Center Pointe Suites has been our destination for first-year students for a few years now.

It is located near the Z6 Dining Hall and neighbors the Campus Center as well as both the Education and Biology buildings.

Center Pointe also houses the P.O.D Market, our on campus convenience store.

Like all UWG residence halls, Center Pointe offers card-control access, free extended basic cable, Ethernet, laundry rooms and other amenities.

Resident Director: Heather Solov

My name is Heather Solov and I am originally from Dallas, Texas. I have lived in Texas my entire life until coming to Georgia for my Master's degree. I attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Sociology and Psychology. I am currently a 2nd-year Master's student working to obtain my Master's of Education in Professional Counseling with a College Student Affairs emphasis.

I love working with people and helping students connect in leadership positions on campus, which is what led me to my love of Student Affairs! During my time at SMU, I was heavily involved in residence life through the Residence Hall Association, the National Residence Hall Honorary, Hall Council, and many outside organizations including my sorority, Gamma Phi Beta. I held on-campus positions within the Residence Life and Student Housing office which allowed me to connect with professionals and take on large responsibilities for the university.

Here at UWG, I currently serve as the Resident Director of Center Pointe Suites, one of the all first-year residence halls. I oversee the building that houses 604 first-year residents and 16 Resident Assistants. Together with Andy Russell, the Residence Life Coordinator, the RAs and I work to ensure your experience Living West is the best it can possibly be!

Residence Life Coordinator: Andy Russell
