The Garage is UWG's premier makerspace.
We are an open, collaborative studio designed for prototyping and creative exploration. Grounded in design thinking, we provide a supportive environment where students, faculty, staff, and community members transform abstract ideas into tangible solutions. The Garage serves as a multidisciplinary hub for hands-on innovation and community-centered design.

What do we have?
Our facility supports everything from digital fabrication and electronics to textiles, creative media, and DIY repair.
While imagination and a drive to innovate are critical to a Maker, having the right tool for the job doesn't hurt either. The Garage is equipped with the right resources to assist any inventor or entrepreneur through the prototyping process.
