College Park Skyhawks and Hawks Talon Gaming Announce New Partnership with UWG
The College Park Skyhawks, the official G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, along with Hawks Talon Gaming, the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Hawks, announced today a new, first-of-its-kind partnership with UWG.

Leveling Up: Lee Named Inaugural UWG Esports Coach
Joseph Lee’s mission at the University of West Georgia is to help the institution level up – in more ways than one. He has been named the university’s inaugural coach of Esports, a form of competition using video games and will oversee recruiting, coaching and team development of UWG’s Esports program.

Varsity Teams
The University of West Georgia Esports program is under development and we are currently looking to build our first set of varsity teams. UWG Esports is looking to field teams in League of Legends, Rocket League, and Smite. The UWG Esports program is currently accepting applications for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Peach Belt Welcomes University of West Georgia as Associate Member for Esports
The Peach Belt Conference and commissioner David Brunk are pleased to announce the University of West Georgia will join the league as an associate member in Esports, beginning spring 2022. The Wolves will compete with the PBC in League of Legends, published by Riot Games.
