The University System of Georgia (USG) and the University of West Georgia are committed to the highest ethical and professional standards of conduct. This commitment is highlighted through Ethics Awareness Week.

In support of this effort, UWG will be hosting activities to build upon our ethical culture by promoting activities related to our system-wide shared core values of integrity, excellence, accountability, and respect.

To get ready for the big week, attend the UWG Faculty Ethics Bowl on Friday, Nov. 3, from 11:45 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Nursing 106 Lecture Hall. Join faculty as they discuss the greatest unanswered questions and enjoy free pizza and giveaways.

Ethics Awareness Week Best Practices Panel

Join Nigel Lange, interim inspector general, State of Georgia; Dr. Bruce Weinstein, CEO, Institute for High-Character Leadership, the Ethics Guy, and Forbes contributor; and Jenna Wiese, vice chancellor of audit, ethics, and compliance, USG, for a panel discussion on Steering an Ethical Culture.

Ethics Week Prize Cab

Want to take a ride on the Ethics Week Prize Cab? Meet us in the Grassy Triangle for a ride around campus while you answer ethics-related trivia and be rewarded for correct answers with a prize.

The Prize Cab will pick up participants on Monday and Wednesday, from 12 until 2 p.m.
