The OneUSG Connect application uses the Time and Absence module within Employee Self Service (ESS) to request and manage leave. In the OneUSG Connect application time off is labeled as absences. This is important to know when looking for the appropriate menu selection.
OneUSG Connect application enables employees to enter leave requests in Employee Self Service (ESS) which routes electronically for approval. Approved absences are then loaded onto the employee's timecard.
Managers will utilize OneUSG Connect Manager Self Service (MSS) to approve and manage leave requests for their employees. Employees are able to submit leave requests for future and past leave through Employee Self Service (ESS).
Managers will be able to view absence requests, approve absence requests and enter an absence on behalf of an employee.
