Ingram Library Book Clubs bring students together through a shared love of reading while introducing participants to library resources, an array of genres and authors, and engaging discussions. Connect, Discuss, Discover!

Why join our book clubs?

  • Read a variety of genres & authors, usually inclusive in some way
  • Meet other students who enjoy reading for fun
  • Vote on which books we read next semester
  • Enjoy a welcoming, non-judgemental space
  • Participate in the discussion as much or as little as you want

I heard there are free books?

Yes! UWG students who sign up for the Ingram Library Book Club may receive a free copy of the selected book. Books are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you receive a book, you must attend at least one book club meeting for that book to remain eligible for future free books. For Silent Reading Book Club, bring your own book or check one out from the Browsing area on the main floor.

Ingram Library Book Club

This book club is a fun, welcoming space where UWG students can dive deeper into the month's selected book through open and engaging discussions. From characters and plot twists to predictions, favorite moments, and even wild theories, every perspective is welcome.

Whether you're completely caught up or still finishing the book, you can join the conversation without pressure or judgement. The club meets on the second and last Tuesday of each month at 6 PM (excluding Thanksgiving week) in Ingram Library.

Silent Reading Book Club

This club is a welcoming community for anyone who enjoys reading and connecting with others through books. Whether you're reading the monthly selection or bringing a book of your own, you'll have the opportunity to share recommendations, discover new authors and genres, and engage in meaningful conversations in a relaxed, inclusive environment.

Open to all UWG students, faculty, and staff, the club meets on the last Monday of the month at 2 PM and the second and last Thursday at 12 PM in Ingram Library. No registration is required—just stop by whenever your schedule allows.
