Amanda Thomas

Amanda, the Director of Academic Compliance for eCampus, is a seasoned professional with a strong academic background. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Criminology from the University of West Georgia (UWG). Amanda's dedication to academic excellence is evident in her 8 years of service at UWG, where she played a pivotal role in assessment and accreditation, including serving as the Director of Assessment for 6 years.

Her journey extends beyond academia, as Amanda has worked in various roles supporting families in challenging situations, demonstrating her commitment to finding creative solutions for a better future. Passionate about inspiring innovative thinking, she encourages others to think outside the box and tackle problems in new and creative ways.

Outside of the professional realm, Amanda finds fulfillment in family life, sharing moments with her husband, two children, and their dog. Actively participating in Odyssey of the Mind, Amanda not only judges at the annual World Finals but also serves on the board with Georgia Odyssey of the Mind. Her additional involvement as a State Problem Captain for scoring highlights her dedication to fostering creativity and imaginative thinking in the community.
