Sarah Hughes began her journey at the University of West Georgia in 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2020 and went on to complete her Master of Education in Professional Counseling in 2023, both from UWG.

Sarah brings extensive experience in Housing and Residence Life, having served in many roles as a Student Assistant and later as a Graduate Assistant. Sarah most recently transitioned into her current role as Assignments Coordinator. In this role, she manages housing assignments for continuing student communities, including the Pet-Friendly Community and Faculty and Staff Housing. In addition to her primary responsibilities, Sarah also contributes as a dedicated member of the Housing Cancellation Committee.
