Bronson Sheffield
Help Desk AssociateBronson is a graduate of Central High School (2008) and pursued higher education in Criminal Justice at West Georgia Technical College (2010).
With a strong background in IT support and technical problem-solving, Bronson dedicated seven years to Tanner Medical Center, where he gained extensive experience across multiple departments, including Help Desk and Desktop Support. His commitment to professional growth led him to earn the HDI-SCA certification in 2020, solidifying his expertise in customer-focused IT solutions.
Bronson joined the University of West Georgia in Fall 2022 as a Help Desk Associate within the Distance Education department. In this role, he assists faculty, staff, and students with a wide variety of technical and course-related issues, with a primary focus on supporting CourseDen (D2L Brightspace). Bronson also provides training for student assistants on the help desk, ensuring that they are well-prepared to support the UWG community.
With over a decade of experience in IT and customer service, Bronson brings a strong background in troubleshooting, user support, and problem-solving. He is passionate about making technology accessible and approachable, and he takes pride in helping others navigate challenges so they can focus on teaching, learning, and success.
