Patti Martin, M.M.

Patti Martin has more than 40 years of teaching saxophone and 23 years as a middle school band director, Patti Martin brings extensive experience in music education and performance to the classroom. Here at UWG, she teaches Applied Saxophone and Woodwind Techniques, helping prepare the next generation of music educators and performers. Patti Martin holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music in Saxophone Performance from the University of West Georgia. In addition to teaching, she performed with the Tara Winds for 18 years and was a member of the University of West Georgia Saxophone Ensemble for 23 years.
