Scott Benefield

Scott is a dedicated advocate for students facing hardships, risks, and victimization. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southeastern University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

Currently serving as the Student Advocate Lead for the Student Health Services Center at the University of West Georgia, Scott plays a vital role in supporting students' facing extenuating circumstances.

He connects students with both on-campus and off-campus resources, helping them navigate challenges and achieve success. Known for his compassionate and student-centered approach, Scott provides confidential support to help students resolve concerns and overcome obstacles during their academic journey.
