Marcus Elder Jr. is the Resident Director for Center Pointe Suites at the University of West Georgia, where he oversees the daily operations of a residential community while fostering student engagement, leadership, and personal development. In this role, he supervises and mentors Resident Assistants, Service Desk Assistants, and supports the building's residents. His experience in residence life has strengthened his skills in leadership, supervision, team development, crisis response, and community management. 

Marcus earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of West Georgia in 2025 and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Data Analytics, with an expected graduation date of May 2027. He is passionate about combining business strategy, financial expertise, and data-driven decision-making to improve organizational performance and student success. Marcus aspires to continue developing as a leader while leveraging analytics to drive meaningful impact in higher education and business.
