Johnathan Haywood is a Resident Director at the University of West Georgia, where he is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Communication from Columbus State University, where his involvement in Housing and Residence Life, student leadership, and campus engagement helped shape his passion for working with college students. 

With several years of experience in Housing and Residence Life, Johnathan is passionate about creating welcoming and supportive residential communities where students can connect, grow, and succeed. His approach to leadership emphasizes collaboration, accountability, relationship building, and creating meaningful experiences for both students and staff. 

Johnathan’s long-term professional interests are centered in higher education and student affairs. He hopes to continue creating environments that help students feel a sense of belonging while supporting their personal, academic, and leadership development
