Brittani Becher, Ph.D., MBA

Brittani Becher is an Assistant Professor at the University of West Georgia, where she brings a rich academic and practical background to the field of sport management. She earned her Ph.D. in Sport Management from The Ohio State University in 2025, where she also served as a Graduate Teaching Associate, instructing a variety of undergraduate courses throughout her three-year doctoral program.

Dr. Becher holds an MBA with a concentration in Sport Management from Tiffin University (2022), during which she gained valuable industry experience as a data analytics and ticket sales intern with the Toledo Mud Hens and Walleye. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a concentration in statistics and a minor in sustainability from the University of Toledo in 2021, as well as an Associate of Science in Mathematics from Owens Community College in 2018.

Her research centers on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), with a focus on exploring interdisciplinary relationships that can enhance the experiences of all stakeholders involved. Dr. Becher’s work bridges theory and practice, aiming to contribute meaningful insights to the evolving landscape of collegiate athletics.
