Jay Vinson serves as a Part-Time Instructor in Sport Management within the College of Education at the University of West Georgia. He teaches Athlete Mental Wellness Management, an online course exploring the intersection of leadership, mental health, and athletic performance. In addition to his academic role, Vinson is currently pursuing his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Sport Leadership at Concordia University Chicago. He is also a certified mental wellness coach, author, and SMWW Certified Agent Advisor, providing mentorship and guidance to student-athletes in areas of NIL education, leadership, and career development. His work bridges sport leadership, education, and holistic well-being to help athletes thrive both on and off the field.
