Hayward earned his bachelor's degree from Kennesaw State University, where he developed a strong foundation in student leadership and higher education through a variety of campus involvement opportunities. He is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration at the University of West Georgia. 

Hayward began his professional career in Housing and Residence Life as a Resident Director at the University of West Georgia, where he oversees residential operations, advises student staff, and supports the development of an engaging and inclusive residential community. Prior to joining UWG, he served as an Orientation Leader, Tour Captain, and Student Ambassador at Kennesaw State University, gaining extensive experience in student engagement, leadership development, and campus programming. His professional interests include residence life, student leadership, orientation, and fostering environments that promote student growth and belonging.
