Aijalon Carter

Originally from Jonesboro, Georgia, Aijalon started her journey at the University of West Georgia in 2020. Aijalon received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of West Georgia, and is now pursuing a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Aijalon has a passion for helping others, which is evident in her decision to serve in mental health, social work, and education roles within the past 6 years. In her current role as a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Community Standards, she seeks to understand students and guide them towards a successful and supported pathway throughout their educational journey. It is the years of being at the University of West Georgia and a multitude of roles on the campus, that has allowed Aijalon to help build connections and develop plans that further enhances the student experience.

In her spare time, Aijalon enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, and finding ways to promote wellness in herself and her community.
