The ACCUPLACER package consists of Elementary Algebra, Reading Comprehension, and WritePlacer. The Elementary Algebra section is untimed and consists of 12 multiple choice questions. The Reading Comprehension section is untimed and consists of 20 multiple choice questions. The WritePlacer section consists of a 60 minute 300-600 word, timed essay in which a prompt is provided. The minimum score requirements are as follows: Elementary Algebra -- 67 or higher, Reading Comprehension -- 61 or higher, and WritePlacer -- 4 or higher.

Which part(s) of the package you take is a decision made by the Admissions Office based on a review of your application. The Admissions Office will tell you what part(s) you need to take.

The ACCUPLACER test is taken on computer.

When you register for the exam, you are reserving a seat for the test. You do not indicate what parts of the test you are taking. We will verify that information with the Admissions Office prior to the testing date so that you take only the part(s) you need.

ACCUPLACER APP is a free web-based study app. It is to your benefit to review/study for the test so that you know what to expect and can, therefore, do your best.
