We offer so many ways to visit our picturesque 645-acre campus, as well as our Newnan campus. From daily campus tours and virtual info sessions to customizable seasonal showcases that give you an inside look at what it means to Go West, we look forward to helping you see why students choose UWG. Ready to experience all that the University of West Georgia has to offer? Join us for a guided walking tour of campus led by a current UWG student! Campus tours are held Monday-Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Group TOURS

Group Tours are designed for any group of ten or more that would like to visit campus as a group. Generally, these groups are made up of students or community members on athletic teams, in youth organizations, government offices, and K12 classes.

NEWNAN TOURS

Tour the Old Newnan Hospital which serves as a focal point of our campus. We offer official tours for prospective students every Monday and Thursday at 2:00 PM.

Showcases

UWG Showcases are free and open to the public and are an opportunity for all students along with their friends and families to experience West. See the UWG campus, meet professors, learn about campus life, see residence halls, and find out why you should Go West.

ORIENTATION

Kick-start your Wolf Experience by attending Orientation at the University of West Georgia. UWG offers in-person orientation sessions for dual enrollment students (one-day) and incoming freshmen, transfers, and readmits (overnight), as well as virtual options for online students.

Hello, future Wolves!  As a current student now looking back, I didn’t know what kind of experience adjusting to college would be. I left a “comfortable” atmosphere and found an experience like none other. Stepping onto UWG’s campus for the first time on a daily tour was an out-of-this-world experience. I instantly felt welcomed by the university’s students, faculty, and staff. “Welcome to West Georgia! Thank you for being here,” was the first welcome I heard as an incoming Wolf. As a current student, an orientation leader, a tour guide, and a mentor, “Welcome to West Georgia! Thank you for being here,” are the exact words I say today when I meet a future Wolf.
