We offer so many ways to visit our picturesque 645-acre campus, as well as our Newnan campus. Ready to learn more about Going West? Come learn about the University of West Georgia virtually as we discuss the amazing things that happen when you Go West.

Showcases

UWG Showcases are free and open to the public and are an opportunity for all students along with their friends and families to experience West. See the UWG campus, meet professors, learn about campus life, see residence halls, and find out why you should Go West.

Wolf Tracks

Wolf Tracks allow you to extend your campus visit experience. Get an in-depth look at your academic program, tour our lab facilities, or step inside a UWG classroom to find out what it means to be part of the Pack. 

Group TOURS

Group Tours are designed for any group of ten or more that would like to visit campus as a group. Generally, these groups are made up of students or community members on athletic teams, in youth organizations, government offices, and K12 classes.

Newnan Tours

Tour the Old Newnan Hospital which serves as a focal point of our campus. We offer official tours for prospective students every Monday and Thursday at 2:00 PM.

Hello, future Wolves!  As a current student now looking back, I didn’t know what kind of experience adjusting to college would be. I left a “comfortable” atmosphere and found an experience like none other. Stepping onto UWG’s campus for the first time on a daily tour was an out-of-this-world experience. I instantly felt welcomed by the university’s students, faculty, and staff. “Welcome to West Georgia! Thank you for being here,” was the first welcome I heard as an incoming Wolf. As a current student, an orientation leader, a tour guide, a mentor, “Welcome to West Georgia! Thank you for being here,” are the exact words I say today when I meet a future Wolf.
