The German Studies Abroad in Oldenburg, Germany, is a ten-week program (May 10th-July 17th) sponsored by International Languages and Cultures. As part of a cooperative agreement between the University of West Georgia and Carl von Ossietzky Universität, Oldenburg, students may earn up to thirteen credit hours of courses taught in German and English in an authentic German university environment for a amazingly reasonable cost.
Students will live in private rooms in shared student dormitories/apartments/houses. Students are officially registered as students of the Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg. Each student is assigned an Oldenburg Student volunteer through the Buddy Program to help integrate them into the Oldenburg student community. Courses are in English and German.
