The Anthropology Department at the University of West Georgia, located in the Anthropology Building, offers a broad introduction to the discipline of Anthropology. We are a traditional liberal arts major that prepares students to continue their formal education or to enter the general work force. Our Anthropology curriculum offers a wide range of undergraduate and a limited number of graduate courses that cover the traditional four fields. We encourage students to participate in conventional classroom settings as well as non-traditional courses.
