Submit the on-line Reservation Form [form is currently down] or contact the Waring Education Program (firstname.lastname@example.org). Each component of the Educational Outreach Program must be reserved at least two weeks in advance and is available on a first come, first-served basis. The Traveling Teaching Trunks may be renewed for an additional 2-week period, depending on availability, and must be picked up and returned to the Waring Laboratory during normal operating hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. The Traveling Teaching Trunk cannot be shipped at this time. Participation in the Guided Tour and On-site Mock Excavation may be completed on the same day or individually, and only during normal operating hours.
The Traveling Teaching Trunks are available for $15 each two-week period. All late returns without advanced arrangements will be charged $15. The Educator is responsible for photocopying any additional copies of student handouts and assessment worksheets for the Educational Outreach Program. The borrower accepts full financial responsibility for all loan materials while they are checked-out in their name. The Waring Laboratory determines all damages and replacement costs. The On-Site Mock Excavation cost is $5 per digger; educators and bus drivers are free. The Guided Tour is free.
