SPED-3754 Practicum II Dual Certification
Description
This course is designed to engage students in clinical experiences in both general and special education and supports program coursework in elementary education and special education. Requirements include observing, planning, and implementing learning activities for students with and without disabilities under the supervision of a qualified supervisor.Students are in-field three days per week throughout the semester in a designated PK-5 public school site. Teacher candidates spend half of the semester in the traditional general education classroom under the supervision of a certified general education teacher and half a semester in a co-taught general education classroom or special education resource classroom under the supervision of a special education teacher.
