UWG Online supports faculty in creating an educational experience in the online environment that will help "maintain student engagement, increase student learning, and assist students in completing their programs of study." In the online environment, we look to sound course design and instructor's use of skillful facilitation practices to provide high levels of quality. Quality Matters

Quality Matters is a nationally recognized, faculty-centered, peer review process created to promote well designed, high quality online/hybrid courses. We manage and provide funding for QM professional development and course reviews, and use the QM rubric in our 5-Star course reviews.

Online Accessibility

UWG Online provides resources to create more accessible online courses. On our Online Accessibility page, we have step-by-step accessibility guides we created to support your online course needs.

Peer Course Reviews

UWG Online has adapted Penn State's Peer Review Guide for Online Teaching formative assessment tool as the best online corollary to sitting in a classroom observing a peer teach. Read more about it on our Peer Online Course Reviews page.
