We need Mentors to...

  • Provide expertise related to the tech programs being used;
  • Give input into what we should be sharing with kids;
  • Help design and/or lead future sessions on topics within their area of expertise/comfort (sessions can be repeated!);
  • Give input into ways in which the program can be improved;
  • Help kids take that next step with a given program;
  • Help kids see themselves as capable of working within the CS domain;
  • Take interest in what kids are working on; and
  • Encourage kids.

We need Volunteers to...

  • Help run sessions;
  • Help set-up and break-down sessions;
  • Give input into ways in which the program can be improved;
  • Lead short activities such as CS Unplugged exercises;
  • Co-facilitate alongside mentors;
  • Become mentors (if desired);
  • Take interest in what kids are working on;
  • Encourage kids.
