The study abroad to London/Brighton serves two purposes: to provide our graduate students with a more global perspective of education and to carry out a service learning project with Brighton Table Tennis Club. By participating, our graduate students will have the opportunity to experience a broader cultural experience than they would through their course work. Students will gain a broader perspective of education globally through visits to a suburban k-12 school (Patcham School) in Brighton and an urban college (University of Roehampton, Whitelands College) in London to interact with faculty, staff, and students. London/Brighton is an English-speaking area; yet there are many opportunities for multicultural experiences as a result of their large immigrant populations.
