Zac Potter Followed an Indirect Path

Zac Potter Followed His Own Path

Zac Potter’s decision to pursue a Master of Public Administration while earning his bachelor’s degree in economics came easily. For him, it was never a question of if he should continue his education, but how. Although economics did not offer a direct Start Early pathway into the MPA program, Zac was determined to find a way forward.

Through the Double Wolf: Start Early program, Zac found an indirect pathway that allowed him to begin working toward a career in public service sooner while accelerating his graduate education.

"I am excited to begin the Accelerated Bachelors to Masters (ABM) Pathway at the University of West Georgia, which allows me to continue my education at an accelerated pace while completing my Bachelor of Economics degree," Zac said when asked about his transition into the Start Early pathway. "The ABM program builds on my education by letting me begin working toward my Master of Public Administration early, which will save me both time and money while helping me build a stronger understanding of public administration, policy analysis, and leadership for a future career in government."

For students like Zac, the Double Wolf: Start Early pathway gives them the opportunity to explore beyond their undergraduate degree.
