• International Education Week

    International Education Week (IEW) is an annual opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is relfected in UWG's efforts to promote programs that prepare our students for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

  • Spring Break 2020

    Spring Break 2020, Chicago, IL "The Windy City"

    When: March 14th - March 18th, 2020

    chicagoThe famous Cloud Gate public sculpture by Indian-born, British artist Sir Anish Kapoor. Constructed 2004-2006, known as "the bean", made of 168 steel plates welded seamlessly and polished. Weight:  220,000 pounds /  99,789 kg.

    Cost: $300, Includes: 

    Payment Plan:  You may pay in full when you sign-up or in 3 easy installments below.

    1. December 6th: $60 cash deposit required to secure your spot!
    2. January 17th: $120 cash payment due
    3. January 31st: $120 balance due.

    When Can I Sign-up & Pay? 
    December 6th, 1pm - 4:30pm in person at the ISAP Office. No payments accepted before this date and time. Set a reminder on your calendar and don't miss out!  No exceptions. 

    Refund Policy
    After signing up and paying a deposit or in full, your spot is secure. If you change plans, you will need to find a replacement who must pay their deposit in order to receive a refund. No refunds are available after airline tickets are purchased since those cannot be changed.

  • International Student Club

    ISC focuses on encouraging intercultural, social, and athletic exchange among students of all nationalities, and to help create a sense of belonging to the campus community through a series of activities and programs that encourage cultural exchanges. ISC meetings are open to all UWG students!

  • Georgia International Leadership Conference (GILC)

    GILC is a weekend long conference for international, study abroad, and students with a general international focus from institutions of higher education to come together in one place to share ideas, network, and above all, develop their leadership qualities. Come be a part of the tradition!

    GILC 2020 is Feb. 21st - 23rd, 2020

    ISAP and ISC cover the following cost:

    • student registration ($110 each)
    • lodging for 2 nights and 5 meals
    • transportation
