The West Georgia Community Indicators project collects and presents data to help organizations and governments in the region to make data-driven decisions and assess program effectiveness. We are a collaborative partnership of stakeholders throughout the region working together to better understand and improve our communities. We work with stakeholders through the West Georgia region, including non-profit organizations, local governments, businesses, and university researchers.
This project is composed of a central data hub, housed at the University of West Georgia Center for Research, and a collaborative network of organizations and researchers throughout the area utilizing and sharing data from their projects. We are currently in the first stage of the project, which involves collecting a centralized database for the community, developing community data-sharing partnerships, and identifying research opportunities to support the project.
