Also, each semester there are additional courses offered in many different disciplines, often 4999 seminar courses, that will count toward a Women's Studies minor. Moreover, many departments offer directed readings, directed research and internships which may count towards a Women's Studies minor. Directed readings, directed research and internships require the consent of the course professor and also Director of Women's Studies, Dr. Jennifer Beggs Weber
