Interim Director of Assessment

Biography

Amanda Thomas, the Interim Director of Assessment in the office of Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment, earned her BS and MA in Criminology from UWG in 2009 and 2015, respectively. Prior to working at UWG, she honed her analytic and communication skills serving the public sector in various capacities. Her benevolent mindset led her to work with troubled families and youth before guiding her back to UWG where she currently fosters collaborative relationships across campus for the purpose of forward progress. A long-standing member of the Board of Directors and Problem Captain for Georgia Odyssey of the Mind, Amanda lives in metro-Atlanta with her husband and two dogs.
