Sunil Hazari, MBA, Ed.D

Dr. Sunil Hazari is a Professor of Marketing in the Richards College of Business, University of West Georgia. 

He teaches courses in Business Web Design, Marketing Research, Social Media, and Business Essentials of Artificial Intelligence. He is a reviewer for prestigious journals such as Journal of Consumer Marketing, Journal of Marketing Management, and is the Assistant Editor for Journal of Information Systems Education. 

Professor Hazari is an expert in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in education and business. He focuses on AI literacy, ethical and effective use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, and how AI can enhance teaching, learning, and business decision-making. He is currently teaching the MKTG3845: AI Essentials for Business course,  and has authored a book on practical ChatGPT prompts for students and educators. Additionally, he actively presents workshops and research on AI’s role in higher education, and business addressing challenges such as bias, ethics, and pedagogy while promoting AI literacy and its responsible implementation in academic and business settings. 

Dr. Hazari's extensive list of publications and presentations reflects his active engagement in exploring the intersection of technology, education, business, and marketing. Following up on his published study on AI perceptions by Marketing students, his new research involves investigating responsible and ethical use of Generative AI for Business and Education. By using thematic and deductive analysis as part of a Qualitative research methodology, he is investigating how individuals and organizations perceive and apply AI across various contexts. This research will provide perspectives on challenges, ethical considerations, and practical applications, contributing to strategic workforce readiness and informed AI integration in diverse sectors.
