The following guidelines are available to help you communicate UWG brand and story.

They include background information and detailed instructions for representing the Go West brand in all of your communications, including on our website and social media channels.

Visual Identity Guidelines

The University of West Georgia Brand Identity Standards are comprised of the university trademarks, official colors and typefaces, mascot, and the guidelines for their use. These standards provide a foundation for clearly communicating the university’s identity and visually linking its many divisions, offices, departments, centers, programs, colleges, and schools to project a unified, professional image that enhances UWG’s reputation.

Social Media Guidelines

The University of West Georgia recognizes that social media sites serve as important and influential means for positive communication and professional development. Social networking sites are broad communities with a public audience that may be used to distribute information about UWG, its various divisions, affiliated entities, and programs. This procedure applies to current and emeritus UWG faculty and to staff, students, and student organizations that engage in official UWG social media marketing.

Web Style Guidelines

The University of West Georgia Web Style Guide exists to facilitate consistency and usability and to promote standardized University branding across websites campus-wide.

E-mail Signature Guidelines

Communication within the University of West Georgia and external communities is a vehicle for expressing University values and a cohesive brand presence, and in recognition of that, Faculty and Staff shall use the following standards in creating electronic/email signatures.
