$146 million of total Financial Aid given annually to UWG students$2.6 million of UWG institutional scholarships given to UWG students

At the University of West Georgia, we are committed to student success. The availability of financial aid and awards helps students afford the cost of attendance to UWG and be successful. UWG offers a wide variety of both merit and need based scholarships. At UWG we understand the enormous benefits that financial assistance offers, and we strive to support our students through their unique academic journeys.

Accepted students can apply for scholarships here:

The UWG Scholarship Application is your 'one-stop shop' to apply for all of UWG's institutional scholarships available to students. You must be an accepted incoming student or currently enrolled in order to apply for our scholarships. Please note that several of the awards will also require the completion of the FAFSA in order to be considered for need-based awards.

While the deadline for some scholarships has passed, the deadline for many scholarships has been extended. Visit our portal to see what will still be available for accepted students. Please follow any emails regarding these incredible scholarship opportunities that are still available!
