Confused by all of those buttons on your DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex)? Get ready to take control of your camera with Instructor Steven Broome!
This course explores the myriad of functions available in today's popular digital-SLR cameras and how they relate to great picture-taking. Exposure modes, white balance, shutter speeds, and f/stops will be among the many topics covered.
The course meets from 6:30-9:00pm on Tuesdays at UWG Carrollton. The course also includes a two-hour Saturday shooting workshop/fieldwork on 2/13. The instructor and class will meet to take photos at a time and location to be determined. In addition to class lectures and demonstrations, students will be given out-of-class assignments to practice technical skills. Students will share their images and participate in class discussions to improve learned techniques throughout the course.
Participants should bring their camera and owner's manual to class.
The 1st of 2 courses within Photography Certificate Program: Photography I and Photography II.
