Campus Center - West Georgia Outdoors Rental Center
Wednesday, October 27, 2021 05:00 PM - 07:00 PM
The How-to-outdoors workshop series will help equip you for any successful outdoor adventure. You’ll learn everything from safety, shelter, nutrition, trip planning, and much more. Participants will be able to put all of the skills and knowledge they learn from the previous workshops into practice by coaching individuals on how to create their very own adventure through a capstone workshop (information about this final workshop will be provided to participants directly). These participants will be awarded a certificate of completion for attending at least 3 workshop events and completing the capstone workshop.
Taking in the comforting glow and warmth of a campfire is one of the best experiences of being outdoors. This workshop will teach you how to safely build and manage a campfire and also learn about some of the other warmth and light options available when camping.
