National Suicide Prevention Week:
Held each September during National Suicide Prevention Month.

- Students can write or leave a supportive message for their peers while learning helpful information about the tools and resources that UWG has to offer to those who might be struggling with anxiety, addiction, or depression.
- Break the Stigma: Bystanders and Bracelets - Wednesday, Sept. 10 & Thursday, Sept. 11 | 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | Grassy Triangle
- Come join Health Promotions and make a bracelet to represent breaking the stigma and raising awareness to the importance of Mental Health.

- Peers will have the Fatality Goggles and Activity mat to raise awareness on driving under the influence and relay prevention methods to students. GOHS Activity mat and Drunk Buster Goggles.

National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week
National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week brings campuses together to improve awareness and responsibility where alcohol consumption is concerned. The observance takes place in the third full week in October.

Building Healthy Relationships in College (part of Health and Safety Week)

- This tabling event focuses on the signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships. Join your Peer Health Educators, as they teach you how to be aware of and prevent sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.
