• General Information

    The performance management process for the January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 period will be completed through an electronic process using the PeopleAdmin system. The form has been updated to include Best Place to Work Standards and Job Standards. More information about the evaluation structure, Best Place to Work Standards, Job Performance Standards, and goals can be found on the Engage West Leading the Pack: UWG Staff Performance Evaluation Structure document. The evaluation method has not changed for this period. 

    The steps to take in PeopleAdmin are explained in the Process and Timeline Guide to Performance Management-CY2017.

  • Training Opportunities

    Supervisors
    Human Resources, in collaboration with Studer Education, will provide campus-wide training to supervisors. Supervisors are highly encouraged to attend the training. During these sessions, we will provide a review of performance management basics and helpful conversational tools and best practices. In addition you will be provided guidance references to the technology aspects of the PeopleAdmin system.
    To register for a session, please log in to Develop West, select Instructor Led Training Sessions, and choose the session that works best for your schedule.
    Supervisor training will take place in the Lower-Level Z-6

    • December 6: 1:00-2:30 p.m. or 3:00–4:30 p.m.
    • December 7: 8:30–10:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.– 12:30 p.m. or 2:00–3:30 p.m.

    Employees

    Employee training will be located in the School of Nursing room 115. 

    • December 19: 9:00-10:00 a.m.
    • December 20: 9:00-10:00 a.m.

  • Timeline

    The timeline below is a suggested schedule from Human Resources. Our primary focus will be the final due date of February 23rd. Supervisors may change the dates within the schedule based on various needs of the department.

    January 5 (Target Date)-  System will be active for supervisors to begin initiating evaluations. A communication will be sent by Human Resources when the program is activated.

    January 19th – Supervisors should have all evaluations initiated. This step must be completed in order for employees to complete the self-evaluation and/or for supervisors to complete their evaluations.

    February 2rd – Supervisor and self-evaluations to be completed.

    February 9th – Reviewing Officers complete their review of the self-evaluation, if available, and supervisor evaluations.

    February 16th – Supervisor and employees complete their conversation and review of evaluations.

    February 23rd – Employees complete final acknowledgment of evaluation.
