The performance management process for the January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 period will be completed through an electronic process using the PeopleAdmin system. The form has been updated to include Best Place to Work Standards and Job Standards. More information about the evaluation structure, Best Place to Work Standards, Job Performance Standards, and goals can be found on the Engage West Leading the Pack: UWG Staff Performance Evaluation Structure document. The evaluation method has not changed for this period.

Log in using your UWG User ID & Password
From the home page click on the Go to University Of West Georgia Employee Portal link to access performance management (upper right-hand side of screen).
Step-by-step instructions are provided at the top of each screen once you are inside the employee’s evaluation. For example, once you access an employee’s plan by clicking on ‘Supervisor Creates Plan’ from your Action Items page, the step instructions are located at the top of each screen in ‘blue’. The instructions will provide ‘just in time’ training as you work through the evaluation steps.

- Supervisors: Leading the Pack: Performance Management Training Calendar Year 2017 (Make Up Sessions):
The timeline below is a suggested schedule from Human Resources. Our primary focus will be the final due date of February 23rd. Supervisors may change the dates within the schedule based on various needs of the department.
January 5 (Target Date)- System will be active for supervisors to begin initiating evaluations. A communication will be sent by Human Resources when the program is activated.
January 19th – Supervisors should have all evaluations initiated. This step must be completed in order for employees to complete the self-evaluation and/or for supervisors to complete their evaluations.
February 2nd – Supervisor and self-evaluations to be completed.
February 9th – Reviewing Officers complete their review of the self-evaluation, if available, and supervisor evaluations.
February 16th – Supervisor and employees complete their conversation and review of evaluations.
February 23rd – Employees complete final acknowledgment of evaluation.
