The University of West Georgia allows teleworking (also known as telecommuting or working from home), on a voluntary basis, to employees who fill job classifications/positions that have been designated as eligible for telework.  The Telework Guidelines provide a general framework for participation, as well as guidance for managers and employees so they may better understand their associated rights and responsibilities should they elect to participate in the program.

The adoption of telework arrangements requires the approval of management and must comply with HR guidelines and practices.
