Special Collections will be hosting a Mixed Mic Night in the Thomas Murphy Reading Room and Townsend Gardens 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 27th. This open forum event will provide UWG and Carrollton community contributors to The Creative Process: Visions and Revisions, an opportunity to receive and/or share diverse creative expressions through words and music and a space for artists and other community members to network/talk about the exhibit.
The open mic will be divided into two 20-minute halves beginning at 6 p.m. with 5 minutes per act/performance. Interested artists will sign up via Google Form or, in person at the event.
