With support from the Georgia Department of Transportation, the University of West Georgia Department of Anthropology presents Long Swamp: Life in the Etowah River Valley. The exhibit will travel to Native American communities throughout the Southeastern United States to share artifacts and research from this Mississippian Age site discovered in Northwest Georgia. During the tour, communities will be invited to share some of their own artifacts for display, making this a truly dynamic, interactive, and ever-evolving exhibit.
